Something vintage, something new

Over recent years I have, like many of you, discovered a love for scouring the charity (thrift) stores for hidden pieces of pretty fabrics - often in the form of vintage bed linens. 

I've had these enormous pieces of fabric (double duvet covers!) in my stash for a while now so I decided to give them a new lease of life by cutting into them to make something new. 

I've been making a LOT of crochet hook rolls recently so I decided it was time I tried out some vintage ones.

I used a pretty pink and white lined fabric for the inside -

All finished off with one of my handmade labels -

Now all that's left to do is pop them into my Folksy shop :)
